Dr. Javier Gonzalez is a board-certified cardiologist, published researcher, and member of multiple leading American medical organizations.
Dr. Gonzalez was born in Columbia, SA, and completed his medical graduation from Universidad Del Norte/Barranquilla, Columbia. Subsequently, he joined Hospital Erasmo Meoz/Cucuta for his General Medicine Internship and began his practice as a staff physician at Hospital Integrado Landazuri, Columbia. Then he joined Hospital San Juan De Dios/San Gil, Columbia, again as a staff physician. Later, Dr. Gonzalez moved to New York, where he practiced as an Internal Medicine Resident at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, NY. He earned his Fellowship in Cardiology Program at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, NY and New York Presbyterian-Cornell/Brooklyn.
As one of the top cardiologists at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Dr. Gonzalez regularly set high standards of medical service and patient care, which won him numerous accolades. He is a member of many reputed societies, including American Board of Internal Medicine, and American Medical Association, among others.
Currently, Dr. Gonzalez continues his practice as a cardiology consultant in The Villages, Florida, where he offers care to his patients with cardiovascular diseases.
